A first for me!!

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to this blog stuff, I read Kim's when she was going through her illness but since then have had so association with them. So here goes. . . Tif, Aunt Helen was Great-Grandma (Edith) Titus's sister and she cooked and baked at a hotel in Kinsman in her youth. She used to come to stay with Grandma Titus and also come over and visit with us and I guess baked pies with your Gram and she liked the crust so that's what she made. The tradition carries on down through all of us on to our children. I'm sure you've heard stories of how we, as kids, went to Lima and stayed at the Schnoover's house (which we thought of as a mansion) - that was Aunt Helen's daughter who married well, obviously.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Jean's with Uncle Tom and Brian joining us who were close enough to attend. It was a great dinner with shared cooking between Gram, Jean and I. Now I'm looking forward to my CRUISE! Everyone, by now, has heard that I'm going on a cruise thanks to Sher! I had the opportunity to have someone go with me so asked Jean and Barb to go and share my room. So I'm really excited about spending 5 days with my sisters and my daughter and her boyfriend. I went to the doctor last week and got a prescription for sea sickness - I don't want to celebrate my 60th by throwing up!! After that I'm looking forward to another joyous Christmas with loved ones. That I guess will continue on into January since Sher and Michael are going to Vegas with his parents.

I hope this new round robin will continue on - I think it's a great idea.
